Hard Red Winter Wheat Linguine
Crafted By: Bob Klein
Oakland, CA
Made of Whole Grain Hard Red Winter Wheat, noted for its full-bodied nutty flavor this Linguine has surprisingly delicate texture and great durability. Hard Red Winter Wheat is traditionally planted in the fall providing it a richer flavor but retaining its properties as an excellent source of protein, dietary fibers, manganese and selenium.
This pasta is a noodle for full-flavored and thicker sauces, such as an Walnut + Basil Pesto or Beef Cheek Ragu. Building off of it's earthy flavor properties we're enjoying this linguine with Shellfish and Uni paired with Breadcrumbs and Calabrian Chilies; with winter vegetables like Butternut Squash and Kale with a Parmesan Cream Sauce; or with stewed Peppers and Sausage.
